We hope you’re staying safe and well during this strange and uniquely challenging time. It seems like a different life when I was stressing about whether I should attend meetings in London, practicing social distancing in pitches and getting concerned about the prospect of London Book Fair going ahead. The world has moved on, and at Bookswarm we have been embracing the lockdown. As a team of people who are all used to working at home anyway, there was no real adjustment period and we’re having regular Zoom calls to try and keep each other sane (well, as sane as we were when this all started, anyway).

While it may have been a quiet time for Bookswarm on social media and on the website, that’s because we’re deeply immersed in our work – with the high street still shuttered, and considerable disruptions to the publishing supply chain, many of our clients are placing renewed emphasis on their digital footprint, which is good news for us. We have worked on integrating Glassboxx direct ebook sales in to websites for clients Atlantic Books, Pavilion and Quiller Publishing, and we are getting stuck into projects for a number of exciting new clients, including the Quarto Group, Profile Books and Lion Hudson, as well a diverse range of authors. We even managed to launch a website that has been built since 2017 and awaiting enough content go live!

In short, we’re still here, for clients old and new, and if you need us, drop us a line.

Stay safe, stay sane,

P.S. The featured image is my favourite view from my daily dog walk. The weather has been so good and my walks are definitely something I look forward to now more than ever.
